INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- FEMA Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers (MDRCs) will open in Daviess and Monroe counties at the following locations:

Daviess County -open for 4 days ONLY
Elnora/Elmore Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept.

Opening day hours: Wednesday, June 25, Noon to 7 p.m., thereafter 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. through Saturday June 28.

Monroe County - open for 4 days ONLY

Opening day hours: Thursday, June 26, Noon to 7 p.m., thereafter 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. through Sunday June 29.

MDRC staff can answer questions about registration for disaster assistance and hazard mitigation, help with disaster loan applications and provide information and contacts for other programs.

Homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the recent severe storms and flooding are encouraged to register for assistance by calling the telephone registration line, 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) which is open 24 hours daily, seven days a week. Residents are encouraged to register prior to visiting any DRC or MDRC. For speech- or hearing-impaired applicants, the TTY number is 1-800-462-7585. Applicants also may register on-line at www.fema.gov.

SBA representatives will be present at all DRCs to provide assistance in completing disaster loan applications, and to accept completed disaster loan applications. 

Returning the loan application is an essential part of the disaster recovery process even for individuals who do not want a loan.
