Welcome to The Desert Outdoor Center.
The Desert Outdoor Center at Lake Pleasant offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The lake and mountains provide a beautiful backdrop for weddings, retreats, and other group functions. Teachers also take advantage of the facilitys 26,000 sq. ft. educators dream available for students. Over 30 programs are offered, ranging from dinosaur history to alternative energy. Public events include stargazing with an observatory telescope and guided hikes along the barrier-free trail. Entry to this facility is restricted to reservations only, except for designated public events.

The summers are HOT in Arizona, so come on out to Lake Pleasant, stay
cool and earn Merit Badges at the same time. We will be offering six – fourday
