Desert Tortoise Watch |
Lake Pleasant Regional Park |
Watch and help feed the captive Desert Tortoises that are housed at the Lake Pleasant Visitor Center. There are five now at the visitor center, so your chance of seeing one is pretty darn good! They generally come out to eat at feeding time (11 AM). The Ranger or volunteers will share information about these slow movers of the desert. |
