Heavy Rains and Flooding Hits Fort Collins

A complex of storms moved out of Northeastern Boulder county into Fort Collins at approximately 6:00 pm. Very heavy rain with up to 4.00 inches in one hour fell in parts of the city with reports of over 5 inches in the southwest part of Fort Collins. Widespread street flooding was reported with many intersections being under water. Spring Creek and Fossil Creek were also out of their banks.
