Apportionment of the Reserve for Arrowtooth Flounder and Flathead Sole in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands

The 2006 initial total allowable catch (ITAC) specified for arrowtooth flounder and flathead sole in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI) management area has been supplemented by amounts of the reserve according to Robert C. Mecum, Acting Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS. This action is being taken in accordance with 50 CFR 679.20(b)(3).


The following table summarizes the apportionment in metric tons:

All actions and closures remain in full force and effect. This apportionment does not rescind or modify closures to directed fishing or actions prohibiting retention of a groundfish species.
