Selected Baroque Paintings from Italian Banks

September 26-November 26, 1990 (extended from November 11)

Overview: 25 Italian baroque paintings by masters such as Caravaggio, Annibale Carracci, and Guido Reni were drawn from the collections of 16 Italian banks and the Italian Banking Association. The exhibition was shown in conjunction with the meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington, DC Diane De Grazia, curator of southern baroque painting, coordinated the exhibition at the National Gallery.
