Overview: 176 paintings and graphics including photographs, postcards, sketchbooks, a sketch box, a diary, and other materials represented all periods of Sloan's career. This exhibition, the 7th in the Gallery's series honoring American artists, was organized by David W. Scott with E. John Bullard and the artist's widow, Helen Farr Sloan, to mark the centennial of the artist's birth.
