Environmental Assessment for the Neodesha Substation Project, City of Neodesha, Wilson County, Kansas (April 2009)
Severe storms and flooding in Kansas between June 30 and July 2, 2007 caused damage to the power plant in the City of Neodesha, who has applied for funding under FEMA’s Public Assistance Program to construct a new 300’x200’ 138kV switching station. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, an environmental assessment has been prepared to analyze and assess the potential environmental impacts of the proposed project.
