There are several ways to find MEDLINE journal titles:
For a list of the journals currently indexed: follow all the steps below
For a list of the journals formerly or currently indexed: follow the steps below, but skip steps 7-9
- Go to LocatorPlus at http://locatorplus.gov/
- Click on the "LocatorPlus" link
- Click on the "Advanced Menu Search" tab
- In the "Search For:" box, type medline
- In the drop-down box to the right, select "any of these"
- In the "Search In:" drop-down box, select "Abstract/Index Tags"
- Make sure that the AND radio button is selected.
- In the next "Search For" box, type 1 5 (that's 1 space 5),
- In the drop-down box to the right, select "any of these"
- In the "Search In:" drop-down box, select "Indexing Status"
- Click on the gray "Search" button (towards the bottom of the page)
