Federal Agency Strategic Plans and Trending Data

Executive Order 13360 requires certain information from all Federal agencies subject to the FAR. It requires these agencies to:

  • 1. provide a strategic plan on how they will meet the 3% goal for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB)
  • 2. designate a senior-level official to be responsible for developing and implementing the agency's strategy;
  • 3. report its progress annually to the Small Business Administration (SBA). Our progress report captures percentages obtained since 2001 for agencies submitting data into FPDS-NG, and reflects the overall progress made since the implementation of PL 106-50.

Locate or register a veteran owned business

The Vendor Information Pages Database is the only Federally controlled database in which a legal verification process is used to determine service disabled or veteran status of a small business. All companies participating in the Veterans First program under PL 109-461 are required to submit evidence of ownership / control and veteran status before being awarded a VA contract under the set-aside authority.
