Lenexa, KS -- Recovery specialists with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will have a Safe Room on display in Kansas City, Missouri at the following location:
Antioch Shopping Center
5307 Center Mall
Kansas City, Missouri
June 21-23-9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The display will be located in the bottom half of the parking lot.
For those unable to view the safe room display, construction plans are available in the booklet, Taking Shelter From the Storm: Building a Safe Room Inside Your House, FEMA Publication 320, by calling 1-888-565-3896. This booklet contains recommended construction plans for safe rooms. The text is also available on the FEMA website www.fema.gov.
