Theodore Roosevelt: His Life and Times on Film features 104 films of events in Roosevelt's life from the Spanish-American War in 1898 to his death in 1919. Roosevelt was the first U.S. president to have a large part of his career and life recorded on film. In addition to scenes of Roosevelt, these films include world figures, politicians, monarchs, and Roosevelt's friends and family. The collection also offers four sound recordings in which Roosevelt states his progressive political views.
