Communicating in the First Hours
Suicide Bombs
A suicide bomb attack uses explosive materials that may be attached to a person’s body or loaded in a vehicle with the intent to kill the person and others in the direct area of the blast. Most of the health risks are due to the explosion itself. While the physical injuries from this bomb may be limited to people in a small geographic area, the intent is to cause great fear and uncertainty.
