PAGO PAGO, American Samoa -- Residents of the Manu’a Islands who suffered uninsured or underinsured damages to their primary residence as a result of Hurricane Olaf have until May 3 to register for disaster assistance. Registration can be made at the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) which will be open as follows:
Social Services Center, Village of Fitiuta on Ta’u Island:

The DRC hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The FEMA Helpline (699-3362) will remain open through May 4 on Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. to assist disaster applicants with status updates, questions and concerns.

FEMA also initiates mitigation activities, trains first responders, and manages the National Flood Insurance program and the U.S. Fire Administration.
