                   Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC)
          Space Weather Alerts, Forecasts, and Summaries Menu

This directory contains SWPC and U.S. Air Force Alert, Forecast and 
Summary reports.  The sub-directories contain the most recent and older 
reports for the last 75 days. Generally, reports are available within 
10 minutes of issue. See the README file in the sub-directories for 
report descriptions.

There are two Space Weather Alerts files in this directory.
    Space Weather Alerts Issued in the last 24 hours (ALTS.txt)
    Space Weather Alerts Issued in the last 7 Days   (oldALTS.txt)

   http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/alerts/ has other Space Weather Alerts web 
   pages. The web page contain graphical alert time lines, real-time 
   displays, descriptions of the Space Weather Alert products, and an 
   archive from 2001.

Older reports, beginning in 1996, are on-line in the SWPC Warehouse.

Many forecasts and summary reports are available via email.

   SWPC provides near-real-time and recent data, solar and geomagnetic 
   indices and solar event reports created from preliminary reports. 
   Preliminary data may contain errors or be revised after further 
   review. The historical products in this SWPC Warehouse are the 
   preliminary reports as originally published. SWPC does not encourage 
   the use of preliminary data for research purposes.
