This September 7, 2007, article from the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) (56[35];912-915) provides a preliminary picture of the prevalence of asthma self-management education in the United States. The article suggests that the majority of adults and youths with current asthma would benefit from additional information and training.
