MARCO AND NANA...HURRICANE OMAR...AND TROPICAL DEPRESSION 
SIXTEEN. SO FAR IN 2009 THERE HAVE BEEN FIFTEEN NAMED STORMS.  
ON AVERAGE...ONLY NINE NAMED STORMS HAVE OCCURRED BY THIS POINT 
IN THE SEASON.

MARCO IS PARTICULARLY NOTEWORTHY FOR ITS SMALL SIZE.  BASED ON
PRELIMINARY ESTIMATES...MARCO.S 10 N MI EXTENT OF TROPICAL- 
STORM-FORCE WINDS IS THE SMALLEST ON RECORD.
