Rockcleft Policies
Deposit: A deposit of 50 percent of the total estimated payment is required to secure all reservations. Deposit is due within 10 days of making the reservation. If the deposit is not received within 10 days the reservation will be cancelled. The deposit will be applied to the amount due for the stay in the cabin(s).

Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is due prior to or at check-in at Rockcleft Camp. Acceptable forms of payment for the remaining balance include debit card and credit card payments, which may be made by contacting the Friends University Cashier (316-295-5865) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or the Caretaker at Rockcleft Camp may accept a check for the remaining balance when you arrive at the camp. Friends University will provide subsequent billing/refund for changes in reservation following your stay at the camp.

Refunds: A full refund is available if the reservation is canceled 60 days prior to the scheduled date. A refund within 60 days is contingent upon scheduling a replacement group.

Alcohol & Tobacco: In accordance with Friends University's Community Life Standards Policy, no alcoholic beverages, drugs or tobacco products are allowed on the premises.

Pets: Pets are not allowed on the Rockcleft premises.

Firearms: No firearms of any kind are allowed on the premises.

Bedding & Linens: Bedding and personal linens are not provided.

Camp Clean-Up: Each group is responsible for cleaning the facilities they used before checking out. Cleaning equipment and supplies are provided. Groups will be charged a $50 cleaning fee if the facility is not left in satisfactory condition. Groups of more than 25 are required to supply a $125 deposit of which $50 is refundable upon receipt of checkout sheet.

Kitchens: The kitchens in each building are fully equipped. You do not need to bring cooking utensils. Paper towels and napkins, however, are not supplied.

Optimal Use: Consideration should always be given to optimal use of the campground facilities with minimal disturbance of other groups present. For example, a single-family unit may not have exclusive use of the entire facility if space allows and others desire to make reservations for the same period of time. Any one group will be limited to seven days stay at one time. Groups of less than 15 people will be allowed to reserve only two cabins with kitchen facilities. The Rockcleft executive committee must approve any exceptions to this policy.

Management: Caretakers live on the premises year around and are able to direct and assist you.
