Definition
An indication of a site's NPL (National Priorities List) status, according to ATSDR's mandated responsibilities. PreSARA refers to a time before the Superfund Ammendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA); PostSARA refers to a time after 1986.
Examples
- NULL or blank = Not a Superfund site
- Final = Site is currently on the NPL
- Proposed = Site has been proposed for the NPL
- Removed PreSARA = Site was removed from the NPL before SARA
- Deleted PreSARA = Site was deleted from the NPL before SARA
- Removed PostSARA = Site was removed from the NPL after SARA
- Deleted PostSARA = Site was deleted from the NPL after SARA
- Non NPL = Site has never been proposed or final on NPL
