Information Review and Release Analyst - Developmental and Full Performance

CIA is seeking highly motivated individuals (developmental
through full performance) who want to be part of the CIA information review
and release and information sharing programs supporting the needs of the world's
premier intelligence organization and its partners. The incumbent will be
responsible for implementing information sharing guidelines and the provisions
of the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act, related laws and Executive
Orders.
Participants in these programs:
-
Analyze sensitivities and help
protect equities in CIA and Intelligence Community products
-
Work with experts throughout the
CIA and Intelligence Community to determine what information can be
shared
-
Facilitate the sharing of
information with the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of the
U.S. Government, intelligence partners, the media, and the general public.
Minimum requirements include
a degree in Library Science (MLS/MIS), Computer Science, Management Information
Systems, or Business. Candidates with Liberal Arts degrees (Political Science, History,
etc.) may also apply. Candidates should also possess:

Strong teamwork skills
A
good understanding of Information Management (laws, regulations, practices,
etc.) and information systems is highly desired.
All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation. US citizenship is required.
To be considered suitable for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.
