CIA is seeking highly motivated individuals (developmental
through full performance) who want to be part of the Information Management
program supporting the needs of the world's premier intelligence organization
and its partners. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing federal
guidelines and records and knowledge management solutions including taxonomies,
metadata management, electronic recordkeeping, and direct information support
to customers.
The incumbent will be assigned to a team responsible for a
wide variety of tasks and disciplines including: requirements development and
analysis; information systems development; records management; file plan
development and implementation; automated categorization tools; leveraging
legacy data; inventorying; implementing appropriate access controls; archives
and preservation; and related marketing, training, and awareness.
Minimum requirements include
a degree in Library Science (MLS/MIS), Computer Science, Management Information
Systems, or Business. Candidates with Liberal Arts degrees (Political Science, History,
etc.) may also apply. Candidates should also possess:

A
good understanding of Information Management (laws, regulations, practices,
etc.) and information systems is highly desired.
