CDC to Discuss Increase in Hib Meningitis Cases

What:

CDC and the Minnesota Department of Health will discuss the current situation in regards to Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) cases in Minnesota, the availability of the Hib vaccine and recommendations for healthcare providers and parents.  Hib meningitis is a severe bacterial infection, occurring primarily in infants and children under five years of age.
