PURPOSE OF CRUISE: To collect sidescan sonar and bathymetric data within the area designated as Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary located approximately 25 miles southeast of Savannah, GA.

NAVIGATION TECHNIQUES: Real-time differential GPS

SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT: Klein Model 531 100 kHz sonar towfish, Odem digital fathometer, QMIPS Data Acquisition station (PC-based collection system) ,DECstation 3100 UNIX Workstation (sonar processing platform) ,Raytheon TDU-850 Thermal Printer (for mapped sonar output),Benthos 7000 Acoustic Ranging Unit,Ashtech Differential GPS Receiver, Navigation Computer
