| Arrangement: | The negatives are in envelopes, arranged numerically, and contain 3-10 negatives per envelope. Generally, the photos in each envelope are not related to one another in subject matter. They are then arranged in a given alpha-sequence such as 101A, 101B, etc. Quite often, there are large numbering gaps. The outside of each envelope includes the following citations: title of the negative(s); city or county where photograph was taken (if known); creating department or division within TVA; date that photograph was taken; name of photographer; and often, the Tennessee Valley Authority project involved. |
