Space Weather Prediction Center Tours

Picture of the Forecast Center

SWPC's Space Weather Forecast Office (SWFO) has the responsibility for providing the Nation's real-time space weather services 24 hours per day. It is a busy and fascinating place to visit, and visitors are welcome during normal business hours with some exceptions for times when duties preclude interruptions for the center staff.

Tours of the NOAA building:

There are scheduled guided tours of the NOAA building weekly (Tuesdays at 1:00p.m. for one hour). The Space Weather Forecast Office (SWFO) is one of the stops on the tour. Please call 303-497-3333 for further information.

Individual and small groups

To set up a tour of only the Space Weather Forecast Office, contact Larry.Combs@noaa.gov (303-497-5299) as far in advance as possible of a visit.

Media visits (film crew or press)

All visits should be coordinated as far in advance as possible. Contact Larry.Combs@noaa.gov (303-497-5299). The best time for media visits is weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
