Tsunami modeling and animation The PMEL Tsunami Program seeks to mitigate tsunami hazards to Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. Research and development activities focus on advanced technology to increase the speed and accuracy of tsunami forecasts and warnings.
