Search for records of the United States Mint at Philadelphia

Basic Search Steps

To read the descriptions of records from the Philadelphia Mint in ARC, click the yellow Search button in the upper left corner of this page.

At the Basic Search Screen:

  1. Change the search type to Advanced Search.

  2. Limit the search results to 1000.

  3. From the lists of locations choose NARA's Mid-Atlantic Region (Philadelphia).

  4. Scroll down to the Record Group Numbers Filter and click the Lookup button.

  5. Type "104" in the keyword box and click the Go button.

  6. Check the box to the left of the name of the record group and click the Selected button.

  7. This will return you to the main search page.

  8. Click the Go button to search for all descriptions.  The search will bring back 409 series level descriptions.

  9. Click the Display All Hits button to see all of the descriptions.
