Federal Human Capital Survey

During the months of August and September of 2008, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) conducted its human capital survey. The Commission found the results from the survey to be extremely encouraging. The survey revealed that:

  • 86 percent of respondents indicated the work they do is important;
  • 97 percent say the people they work with cooperate to get the job done; and
  • 76 percent said the organization’s leaders maintain high standards of honesty and integrity.

Additionally, we are extremely proud that in 2008 the PRC ranked 6th on Leadership and Knowledge Management, 17th on Results-Oriented Performance Culture, 17th on Job Satisfaction, and 24th on Talent Management out of 75 small Government agencies.

The attached file shows the results of the 2008 survey. As comparative benchmarks, this trend report also shows 2008 Governmentwide survey data and results from the Commission’s 2006 human capital survey.
