  • April 24, 2009 - On Monday, April 27th, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. the United States Marshals Service Gang Resistance and Education Training (G.R.E.A.T.) program will hold a graduation for two sixth grade classes of forty seven students. The graduation will take place at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School for Science and Technology, located at 1617 Caffin Avenue New Orleans, Louisiana. The attending students successfully completed a thirteen lesson G.R.E.A.T. curriculum instructed by Deputy U.S. Marshals assigned to the Eastern District of Louisiana.
  • January 26, 2009 - The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) New Orleans office along with the New Orleans Police Department arrested Christopher Cyrus, 23, in New Orleans, LA. Cyrus was wanted by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) for 3 counts of aggravated burglary, simple burglary of a residence, attempted aggravated rape and a parole violation warrant issued by the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole.
  • January 15, 2009 - On January 14th, 2009, the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) New Orleans office arrested David Stann, 26, at his residence in New Orleans, LA. Stann is the suspect of a homicide that occurred in Detroit, Michigan. Stann has been booked into the Orleans Parish prison and is waiting extradition to Detroit, Michigan.
  • November 07, 2008 - On November 6th, 2008 the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Fugitive Task Force (GCVFTF) arrested Pedro Duran, 32, at the Palace Inn, in Houston, Texas. Also, on November 6th, 2008 the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested Renil Escobar-Rivera, 29, in San Antonio, Texas. Both subjects were the final two at-large suspects in a recent quadruple homicide.
  • November 03, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force conducted “Operation Guardian” during the week of October 27th thru October 31st, 2008. Operation Guardian was a collaborative effort by local law enforcement agencies assigned to the Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force. The initiative’s main focus was locating violent sexual predators and non-compliant sex offenders in accordance with the mandate of the Adam Walsh Act of 2006.
  • October 30, 2008 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) arrested Victor Jesus Gonzales, 49, at a residence in Florida. Detectives with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO) allege that in July, 1985 Victor Gonzales committed the act of Aggravated Rape in Gretna, Louisiana, while holding his victim at gunpoint. Gonzales was alleged to have fled the New Orleans Metro area immediately after committing this crime and has remained on the run for 23 years.
  • September 26, 2008 - On September 25, 2008, the Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Bryant Boudin in New Orleans, LA. Boudin was booked for the murder of Betsy McDaniel, owner of the popular Betsy’s Pancake House in Mid-City. He was charged with second degree murder and aggravated battery. Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives allege that Boudin, 27, brutally beat McDaniel, 72, in her Marrero home on Memorial Day of this year.
  • August 22, 2008 - On August 21, 2008, the U.S. Marshals Service - Eastern District of Louisiana (E/LA) Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested David Wedge in New Orleans, Louisiana. St. Charles Parish investigators allege that Wedge, 28, kidnapped, raped, and beat a woman earlier this month. Wedge had additional warrants for battery by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
  • August 13, 2008 - On August 12, 2008, the U.S. Marshals Service E/LA Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Marko Tavizon in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dallas County investigators allege that Tavizon, 34, sexually assaulted a seven year old female child in June of this year. Due to the age of the victim, Tavizon was charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Juvenile.
  • July 30, 2008 - On July 29, 2008, the U.S. Marshals Service E/LA Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO) arrested Edward Veal, in Gretna, Louisiana. Veal was listed as #1 on the (JPSO) Top 100 most wanted fugitives list, for charges of First Degree Murder and Attempted Second Degree Murder. On July 29, 2008, the U.S. Marshals Service Northern District of Texas (N/TX) promptly acted on information provided by the U.S. Marshals Service (CSFTF) and arrested Garcia-Viera, Rene, with assistance from the Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood, Texas. Garcia-Viera was listed as #7 on the (JPSO) Top 100 most wanted fugitives list, for a charge of Attempted Murder.
  • July 15, 2008 - On July 14, 2008, fugitive Lloyd Munson was apprehended by the Harris County Sheriffs Office, the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force (GCVOTF) and the Houston Police Department, at an apartment complex in Houston, Texas. Munson fled the New Orleans Metro area after his alleged involvement in the aggravated kidnapping and murder of Terrence Pinkley. Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s investigators allege that on March 01, 2008, Munson kidnapped Terrence Pinkley and attempted to negotiate with an associate of Pinkley, for the exchange of drugs and money to secure his freedom. When Pinkley’s associate contacted the authorities and informed them of the plot, Munson allegedly shot and killed Pinkley.
  • June 06, 2008 - U.S. Marshal Michael D. Credo proudly announced his agency’s “1000th” arrest, under a specially created Attorney General’s enforcement initiative. The initiative began in August 2006, in an attempt to reduce violent crime in the “Post-Katrina” New Orleans Metropolitan area. Critical components of the plan include additional funding and Deputy U.S. Marshals positions assigned to the local office. The program’s sole purpose is to assist local law enforcement by targeting, locating, and apprehending persons wanted for violent crimes.
  • May 16, 2008 - On May 15, 2008, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office acted on information provided by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) and arrested Jeremiah Benoit, 30, for escape from the Calcasieu Parish Prison. Benoit was also wanted by Lake Charles Police Department for an Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Assault that occurred after his escape.
  • May 16, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana (USMS EDLA) partnered with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Charter School for Science and Technology (MLK) in 2007. In 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana Marshals Office successfully graduated approximately 70 students from MLK. This year MLK Charter will graduate approximately 140 elementary and middle school students in the G.R.E.A.T. Program on Tuesday May 20, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. MLK is located at 1617 Caffin Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117.
  • May 07, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Francisco Hernandez-Almendares, 26, on a warrant issued in December of 2006 in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana charging him with aggravated rape of a child under 13 years old. Acting on a lead sent by the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals Service Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), Hernandez-Almendares was arrested in Baldwin County, Alabama after a traffic stop initiated by the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and local law enforcement.
  • May 06, 2008 - On May 05, 2008, the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals Service Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Darryl Dwight McQuillion (AKA: Gregory Galloway) at a local homeless shelter on Camp St. New Orleans, LA. McQuillion, 58, was wanted on a federal parole violations warrant by the U.S. Marshals Service for violating the conditions of his federal parole on 1985 and 1986 convictions for armed bank robbery in San Francisco, CA. He was also wanted by the Milwaukee, WI Police Department for an April 2008 warrant charging him with bank robbery.
  • May 05, 2008 - On 5/2/08, Robert Thomas Franks was arrested in New Orleans, Louisiana by investigators from the Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF). Franks was wanted by the Honolulu, Hawaii Police Department for invasion of privacy. Honolulu PD detectives say that Franks allegedly video recorded his stepdaughters with a camera hidden a bathroom of their residence on multiple occasions.
  • April 30, 2008 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Dallas Fort Worth Fugitive Task Force along with the Fort Worth Police Department arrested Devin Garrison after a brief high speed pursuit and subsequent foot chase in Fort Worth, Texas. Garrison, 18, is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Rigobero Duvon that occurred during an armed robbery on November 28, 2007 in New Orleans.
  • April 08, 2008 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Terrance Brewer at the home of an acquaintance in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was wanted in connection with a double homicide that occurred on March 16, 2008, in Concordia, California. Brewer, 19, was booked into the Orleans Parish Prison and is waiting extradition to California.
  • April 07, 2008 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) arrested Eldrin George leaving a hotel in Duluth, Georgia. George was wanted in connection with the 2007 Christmas day shooting of multiple victims, killing two. He was also wanted for numerous armed robberies in New Orleans that occurred before the shooting. George was on active probation in Louisiana for a previous drug conviction.
  • April 03, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Service District of Colorado Fugitive Location Apprehension Group (FLAG), acting on information provided by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), arrested New Orleans Police Department murder suspect, Edward J. Augustine at the condominium of an associate in Aurora, Colorado. Augustine was wanted by the New Orleans Police Department on a first degree murder warrant.
  • March 19, 2008 - On March 18, 2008, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested Martin “Big Marty” Duncan at the apartment of a relative in College Station, Texas. Duncan is charged as the main distributor in a major drug conspiracy centering in the B.W. Cooper Housing Projects in New Orleans from 1994 through 2003.
  • February 27, 2008 - New Orleans, LA metro area: On the morning of February 27, 2008, the U.S. Marshals Service Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) with assistance from the Kenner Police Department arrested Ricky Johnson (AKA: Ricky Thomas Miles) 42 years old at his place of business on Williams Blvd. Kenner, Louisiana. Johnson was wanted on a 1994 warrant out of Shelby County (Memphis, TN) charging him with the rape of a child. Investigators in Tennessee allege that Johnson committed the rape over a two year period with a female child between the ages of 8-10 years old.
  • January 24, 2008 - The U.S. Marshals Service Western District of Louisiana Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (FAST) with assistance from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Lake Charles City Police Department arrested New Orleans Police Department murder suspect, Dominick Allen, 23 years old, in Sulphur, Louisiana based on a collateral lead sent by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF).
  • December 11, 2007 - On the morning of December 11, 2007, the U.S. Marshals Service Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Rico Doyle in New Orleans, LA. Doyle was wanted on a murder warrant issued in Bell County Killeen, TX. He has prior convictions in Louisiana for armed robbery and violation of his Louisiana parole.  Assistance is requested from the public in locating New Orleans native, Damiee Kendrick Johnson is is also implicated as a murder suspect. He is an 18 year old African American male with brown eyes, 5'05", and 150 pounds. Johnson's last address was in Killeen, TX but prior to Hurricane Katrina he resided in the 2600 block of North Rocheblave New Orleans, LA. There is a reward for information leading to his arrest and all information is anonymous.
  • December 06, 2007 - Members of the New Orleans Police Department Violent Offenders Warrant Squad (NOPD VOWS) and the U.S. Marshals Service Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested one of Crime Stoppers and the Metropolitan Crime Commission’s (MCC) most wanted fugitives, Bryan K. Hill, 28 years-old in New Orleans East. Approximately one ounce of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana were recovered in the apartment during his arrest.
  • November 30, 2007 - On Thursday, November 29, 2007, Tyrone Lacaze, a 21- year old New Orleans native, was arrested in Ferriday, Louisiana by members of the Western District of Louisiana fugitive task force. The arrest was the result of information that the U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) developed in New Orleans.
  • October 30, 2007- U.S. Marshals in Georgia, along with the Euharlee Police Department and the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Terry Ferguson near his home in Euharlee, Georgia. Ferguson was wanted by the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office for sixteen counts of contractor fraud totaling over $500,000.00. The victims, fifteen from Orleans Parish and one from Jefferson Parish, had an average loss of over $30,000.00.
  • October 10, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) and the New Orleans Police Department arrested Bryan Bordere, 21 years old, after he briefly resisted arrest. Bordere was wanted by the New Orleans Police Department on a first degree murder warrant.
  • September 27, 2007 - The Southern District of Texas U.S. Marshals Service arrested Steven Conerly, 23 years old, at an apartment in Houston, Texas. Conerly was wanted on a warrant out of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana charging him with second degree murder. He has prior convictions in Jefferson Parish for burglary and possession of narcotics and had recently been released from parole supervision.
  • September 25, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) with assistance from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Darrell Thomas Mays Jr., 30 years old, at the West Jefferson Medical Center. Mays was wanted by the Tuscaloosa, Alabama Police Department on a murder warrant. He was visiting a patient at the hospital at the time of his arrest. Mays has a prior manslaughter conviction for which he served time with the Louisiana Department of Corrections.
  • September 19, 2007 - On September 18, 2007, President Bush appointed Michael David Credo, 48 years old, as U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA). U.S. Marshal Credo has been a career employee with the U.S. Marshals Service for twenty two years and served the last five years as a Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal in the Middle District of Louisiana, which is headquartered in Baton Rouge.
  • September 18, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) with assistance from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) arrested Kenneth Mosley, 40 years old, at a residence in Terrytown, LA. Mosley was wanted by the NOPD on a warrant charging him with two counts of aggravated rape. He was also wanted by the U.S. Marshals EDLA on a warrant for violation of his federal supervised release on a 2002 federal conviction for felon in possession of a firearm.
  • August 29, 2007 - Acting U.S. Marshal Roxanna Irwin announced the apprehension of two suspected violent criminals.  In the first incident, U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force officers arrested Eustaquio Diaz in Metairie. Diaz was wanted by the Linn County Sheriff’s office, Iowa, for the sexual assault of an eight year old child.  In the second incident, Task Force officers arrested Keyatta Corey Mays, wanted by the Tuscaloosa Police Department for murder.
  • July 26, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force apprehended murder suspect Walter Mendez early this evening at the home of a family member in New Orleans. The 26 year-old Mendez is the suspect in a murder that took place in Escambia County, Florida sometime late last night. 
  • July 18, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), with assistance from the New Orleans Police Department Violent Offenders Warrant Squad (NOPD VOWS), Louisiana Probation and Parole, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, arrested one of the New Orleans metro area’s most wanted fugitives, Phillip J. Helton.
  • June 19, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), with assistance from the Slidell Police Department, arrested Karim Peters, 23 years old, on in Slidell, Louisiana. Peters was wanted on two warrants out of Orleans Parish. One warrant was for an attempted murder on May 16, 2007, and the other for armed robbery.
  • June 11, 2007 - On Monday, June 18, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T. NOLA) will graduate five classes in the G.R.E.A.T. Elementary Program. Two fourth grade and three fifth grade classes (73 students) from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School for Science and Technology (MLK) went through the six lesson program.
  • June 06, 2007 - The U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Tony “Boochie” Jones, 24 years old, at his girlfriend’s residence in Jefferson, Louisiana.  Jones was wanted on a November 2006, federal warrant/indictment charging him and eight others with violations of the federal gun control act and the federal controlled substances acts.
  • May 10, 2007 - St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Deputy/Special Deputy U.S. Marshal Paul Finn received the U.S. Marshals Service Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award from U.S. Marshals Service Director John Clark. The award was given to Deputy Finn at a ceremony held in Arlington, Virginia on April 11, 2007.
  • April 19, 2007 - On April 18, 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana’s U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Javier Hernandez in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hernandez was wanted by the Yaphank Police Department in Suffolk County, New York for the alleged rape of a child under the age of fourteen.
  • April 18, 2007 - On the evening of April 18, 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana’s U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), the New Orleans Police Department, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Frank Daniels, 20 years old, in Gretna, Louisiana. Daniels was wanted in connection with the March 31 shooting death of Charley Zeno.
  • April 10, 2007- The Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) will embark on a new proactive mission in an effort to change the mind set that promotes violence, gang activities, and the drug culture in the New Orleans metro area. USMS EDLA is sponsoring this partnership with the New Orleans Police Department; the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff’s Office; New Orleans Harbor Police; and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) New Orleans office to implement Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) in New Orleans area schools.
  • March 29, 2007 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the Western District of Texas arrested Frank Hodges Jr., 61 years old, at his residence in Texas based on a collateral lead sent by the U.S. Marshals Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF). Hodges was wanted on warrants out of Jefferson and Orleans Parish for multiple counts of contractor fraud and exploitation of the infirmed totaling over $200,000.
  • February 22, 2007 - On the afternoon of February 22, 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), with assistance from the FBI New Orleans Field Division and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, arrested David John Sprong Jr., 47 years old, at A to Z Auto Auction L.L.C. in Holden, Louisiana without incident.
  • February 21, 2007 - On the early morning of February 18, 2007, the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) arrested Francis Eugene Reed Jr., 40 years old, at a residence in Chelsea, Alabama (Shelby County, AL.) without incident. Reed, who had been a fugitive since April of 2006, was wanted by the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office for two counts of aggravated rape of a juvenile and for two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
  • February 8, 2007 - On the night of February 07, 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana ( EDLA) U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF), with the help of the Westwego, Louisiana Police Department, arrested Cody Lee Good, 29 years old, and his girlfriend, Tosha Leah Thomas, 26 years old, in Westwego, Louisiana. Good was wanted out of Arapahoe County, Colorado for escape and is a suspect in at least four armed robberies in the Alexandria, Louisiana area. Thomas was wanted out of Arapahoe County, Colorado for a felony theft.

  • February 06, 2007 - On February 05, 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Desmond Manuel Ray, 32 years old, at his residence in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ray was wanted on a January 2007, EDLA warrant charging him with federal supervised release violations. A firearm, as well as a quantity of what is believed to be crack and powder cocaine, was also recovered from the residence.
  • January 18, 2007- On January 18, 2007, the Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Darrell Wayne Parker, 46 years old. Parker, who was wanted on an February 2005, Texas Department of Safety (DPS) parole warrant for voluntary manslaughter, was also wanted on a warrant from November 2006, charging him with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
  • January 13, 2007 - On the morning of January 13, 2007, the EDLA U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Donald Greenup, 25 years old, on Washington Ave. New Orleans, LA at his place of employment without incident. He was wanted on a warrant issued January 12, 2007, out of Dallas County, Texas charging him with capital murder/capital felony.
  • December 19, 2006 - The Eastern District of Louisiana Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested three fugitives in different parts of New Orleans on unrelated cases. Thomas Ginn was arrested on a federal indictment / warrant out of District of Montana charging him receipt and possession of child pornography. Hector Castillo was arrested for failure to appear on an attempted murder charge warrant issued by the Elizabeth County Sheriff’s Office in New Jersey. James Davis was arrested on a murder and two counts of attempted murder warrant.
  • December 18, 2006 - The Eastern District of Louisiana (EDLA) Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) with assistance from the New Orleans Police Department arrested William Paulus, 23 years old, and Santos Camarillo (AKA: Leo Chavez), 22 years old, on a federal indictment/warrants out of Western Tennessee (Eastern Division Jackson, TN) charging both with using a cell phone to induce and entice minors to engage in sexual acts.
  • November 29, 2006 - The U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Thomas A. Drake at an apartment in Lockport, Louisiana as he attempted to run out of the back door of the residence. Drake was wanted on warrants out of several jurisdictions in Georgia charging him with two armed robberies, a probation violation warrant based on a DUI conviction, and a failure to appear warrant on a narcotics charge.
  • November 29, 2006 - An anonymous tip based on a US Marshals Service reward offer, led the St. Charles Parish Sheriffs Office to arrest Dwan L. Storks. Storks, 26 years old, of Killona, Louisiana, was arrested on a warrant issued in St. Charles Parish for aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery, sexual battery, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
  • November 21, 2006 - Ausbia Taylor, 22 years of age, surrendered to the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) and the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) at the U.S. Courthouse in New Orleans, Louisiana. Taylor was wanted on warrants issued by the NOPD for two counts of attempted first degree murder and flight from a police officer.
  • November 20, 2006 - The S/TX U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested Treg Eugene, 20 years old, in Clear Lake City, Texas. A firearm and narcotics were recovered from the scene where he was arrested. Eugene, of New Orleans, was wanted by the New Orleans Police Department for a murder that occurred in New Orleans on May 28 of this year.
  • November 15, 2006 - The Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) with critically assistance from the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff’s Office located and rearrested Clarence Raymond (AKA “Black”) at the Orleans Parish Prison. Raymond, who is from Louisiana, was wanted out of San Antonio, Texas on a murder warrant issued in August 2006.
  • November 06, 2006 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the Middle District of Louisiana with assistance from the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals’ Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) and the Southern University Campus Police Department arrested Leroy Massey, 21 years old. Massey was wanted out of New Orleans and Jefferson Parish, Louisiana on warrants charging him with murder and attempted murders.
  • October 30, 2006 - Deputy U.S. Marshals from the Eastern District of Tennessee (EDTN) arrested Elizabeth Williams, 24 years old, without incident at an apartment in the 800 block of Portsmouth Ave. Bristol, Virginia. Williams was wanted on a warrant out of St. John the Baptist Parish charging her with theft $500.00 or more.
  • October 27, 2006 - On the afternoon of October 26, 2006, the Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Curtis Nolan Brooks, 43 years old, on warrants out of Franklin County, Georgia charging him with escape, robbery, criminal interference with government property, kidnapping, aggravated assault, obstruction of an officer, and burglary.
