SOI Projects and Contacts
SOI does a lot more than just crank out data. We conduct various studies you might be interested in, such as the number of Americans living abroad, the activities of foreign partnerships controlled by U.S. corporations, and which countries have the most foreign recipients of U.S. income. Look here for brief descriptions in PDF of our completed and planned studies and projects. You’ll also learn who the primary analyst(s) for each study is and how to contact SOI if you have questions or comments.

Publications

IRS Data Books
So how much money did the IRS refund last year? And how many returns did it get. Look here for the most recent IRS Data Book (Publication 55B), with links to the 1995 to 2003 IRS Data Books. All this data and more come in SOI Bulletins (Publications 1136). You can find them here – even back to the Winter 1997-1998 issue. The most recent versions of the historical and other data tables and appendix found in the Bulletins are also here. Also included is an unpublished, expanded version of Historical Table 16 for Non-profit charitable organizations, private foundations, and exempt organizations.
