Final Regulations Relating to Automatic Contribution Arrangements
The final regulations relating to automatic contribution arrangements were published in the Federal Register on February 24, 2009 (TD 9447). These regulations affect administrators of, employers maintaining, participants in, and beneficiaries of section 401(k) plans and other eligible plans that include an automatic contribution arrangement.
H.R. 7327
On December 23, 2008, P.L. 110-458 (H.R. 7327), the Worker, Retiree, and Employer Act of 2008 (Act), was signed into law by the President. The Act makes technical corrections related to the Pension Protection Act of 2006.
