How To Submit a PSC Proposal

A New System

OACM has worked with Avue to develop a more efficient proposal and evaluation process for overseas short-term personal service contracts (PSC). Because most of the PSC solicitations are for recurring short term positions required at different posts around the world, qualified contractors need only submit a contractor proposal once to be considered for that type of personal service contract no matter where or when it may become available.

The advertised contractor positions do not specify either the schedule or location of upcoming contracts. Posts needing qualified USPSCs will access the Avue Contractor Database for a specific contractor position and will make a selection based on qualifications, availability and suitability of the contractor’s experience. Therefore, it is in your best interest to maintain your profile with the most up-to-date work experience, certifications and personal contact information

Submitting a Proposal

If you are interested in contracting with Peace Corps for any of these overseas short term positions, click on the appropriate Position Title on the Training Contracts Opportunities page. The link will take you to the specific contract application in Avue, where you can establish your profile and complete your proposal.

Although your confidential proposal will be maintained in our files and considered for similar contracts, you must submit a separate proposal for each type of PSC for which you are qualified. You can submit proposals for Peace Corps PSCs only by accessing Avue from the Peace Corps website. However, you can check your status and maintain your personal profile by logging in at www.AvueCentral.com. Please note that prospective contractors must access their profile in Avue to re-certify their eligibility whenever their qualifications change, or at least every 90 days, to continue to be considered for future contracts.
