2009 Northeast Region Compliance Training & CRA Updates

The Office of Thrift Supervision Northeast Region will host “Compliance Training and CRA Updates” on the following dates at the following locations:

Philadelphia, PA on May 5, 2009 at The Philadelphia Marriott Downtown

Jersey City, NJ on May 12, 2009 at The Doubletree Hotel

Boston, MA on June 25, 2009 at The Boston Marriott Newton

Portland, ME on August 18, 2009 at The Embassy Suites Portland

The training is designed to benefit Compliance and CRA Officers at OTS regulated thrifts in the Northeast Region. The fee for this training course is $50.00 per person. Attendees planning on an overnight stay are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.

The training will cover the following key Compliance and CRA topics.

• Fair Lending - Risk Assessment and Program Enhancement

• Overdraft Protection - Unfair and Deceptive Acts Practices

• SARS - Mortgage Fraud Detection and Prevention

• Compliance Emerging Issues

• RESPA - New Rules

• Community Reinvestment Act Updates-Review of New Questions & Answers

We will allow sufficient time to discuss any other Compliance/CRA issues of interest to you and your staff.

Breakfast and Registration will be from 8:00am through 8:30am with the training beginning promptly at 8:30am. The sessions will conclude by 1:00 pm.
