San Antonio - The United States Marshals Service's Lone Star Fugitive Task
Force (LSFTF) recently
tracked down three individuals charged with violent crimes.
On Monday night LSFTF members caught up with reputed Mexican Mafia gang
member 34 year
old Eric Xavier Mendoza. Mendoza was charged with Capital Murder after
shooting and killing
two individuals from another gang on February 21,2009. Mendoza was arrested
on El Paso
Street in San Antonio at a girlfriend's house after LSFTF members conducted
surveillance at
various locations and saw Mendoza arrive in a vehicle.
On Tuesday night 2 1 year old Leonard Terrazas was arrested by the LSFTF in
San Antonio near
IH3 5 and Eisenhower after a warrant was issued for his arrest charging him
with Manslaughter.
On 09/29/08, Samantha Herrera was shot and killed at 5 105 Village Lawn
where she shared a
home with Terrazas, On March 3,2009 SAPD Homicide Investigators gathered
enough
evidence to charge Terrazas and he was arrested by the LSFTF.
On Wednesday afternoon Carnal County Armed Robbery Suspect 28 year old
Wesley Dale Davis
was flown to Dallas from Guadalajara, Mexico after being arrested and
deported by Mexican
Law Enforcement Officials. LSFTF members tracked Davis to the interior of
Mexico and
quested assistance. h m the Marshals Service Mexico City Field Office. Back on
January 15,
2009 an Armed Robbery took place in Coma1 County and Wesley Davis was
developed as a
suspect. Davis also has an active warrant for a State Parole Violation as
well as an active w m t
in Guadalupe County for Theft of a Firearm.
The United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas LaFayette
Collins said, "Once again
our LSFTF members and partner agencies pooled their resources to take some
very dangerous
people off of the streets of our communities. Our partners in the Republic
of Mexico are an
additional asset and we are very appreciative of their efforts in returning
our fugitives to face
justice." |
