Cincinnati, OH - Cincinnati-On 01/14/09 at approximately 4:15 pm, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team arrested Demetrius Laron Ruff a.k.a. “Meaty” (DOB 12/06/76) during a felony traffic stop in front of 733 Martin Luther King Blvd. Ruff is accused of murdering a 14 year-old juvenile in broad daylight in the Cumminsville neighborhood nearly two years ago. Ruff has a lengthy criminal record that includes felony assaults, drug possession, and dog fighting. U.S. Marshal James Wahlrab stated, “With this arrest the community is much safer.”

Ruff was booked into the Hamilton County Detention Center.
