The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force Had a Busy Friday Arresting 4 People on Various Charges Including Kidnapping a Teen in Selma, TX
LSFTF LogoSan Antonio, TX – The United States Marshals Service sponsored Lone Star Fugitive Task Force spent Friday hitting the streets of San Antonio and surrounding communities looking for and apprehending multiple fugitives in various locations.

Benito Delgado DOB 07/14/1944 – was wanted by Nueces County, Texas on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Delgado was located and arrested on the 500 block of Escalon in San Antonio.

Richard Alvarado Mora DOB 02/14/1985 – was wanted by the Selma Police Department and the Bexar County Sheriffs Office on charges of Kidnapping. Mora is charged with abducting a teenager and holding that teenager for multiple days.

Martin Sustaita DOB 03/01/1987 and Melanie Fernandez DOB 07/26/1984 – This fugitive couple were wanted on Federal Charges out of San Antonio with an original charge of Possession with the Intent to Distribute more than One Thousand Kilograms of Heroin.

The United States Marshals Service led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency coalition of law enforcement officials dedicated to finding and capturing those accused of violent crimes to include felony drug and sex crimes.

The United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas LaFayette Collins said, “The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force partners with any agency that needs assistance locating those charged with crimes of violence. In the Mora case, we were able to team with the Selma Police Department and together, we captured their prime suspect many miles from Selma. Hopefully the victim in this case will sleep a little better tonight knowing the suspect is behind bars”.
