NOAA Enterprise Architecture (EA) Committee

The NOAA Enterprise Architecture (EA) Committee serves the CIO Council as a
resource to establish Enterprise Architecture (EA) policies and standards, and to
develop and promote subject matter expertise in areas/programs assigned to the
committee. The EA committee includes representation from all Line Offices, and leads
NOAA in the implementation and sustained use of EA as a strategic information
management and decision-making practice.

NOAA Enterprise Architecture version 4.0, 4-2-09 (NOAA employees only).

The current NOAA Enterprise Architecture (EA) 4.0 differs from the previous version (February 2008, version 3.0) most notably in its length.  Gone are the tables describing target architectures.  The current version simply describes the programs with the baseline information as well as the FY08 accomplishments per each program.  The format is based on inputs required by the Department of Commerce.  Next year the EA office anticipates even more changes as EA segments begin to provide more of the focus for how we view our architecture
