The Louisiana Superdome - repaired - Katrina Third Year Recovery

New Orleans, LA, August 15, 2006 -- The Louisiana Superdome served as a shelter of last resort in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, but sustained major damages during the storm. FEMA provided $176 million in funding for emergency protective measures, debris removal, mitigation measures and repairs to the facility, speeding the New Orleans' Saints return to their home field.
