Fire Grant Workshops Set For Western Pennsylvania

Philadelphia, PA -- Workshops are under way to help local firefighters apply for the series of Federal Fire Grants for fiscal year 2003, federal officials said.
Two workshops are planned for western Pennsylvania Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region III, officials said. They will be at the Harrison City Fire Department off Route 993 in Harrison City on Monday, Feb. 10; and at Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department, 29 Shuffstall St., Franklin, on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Both workshops will be from 7 to 10 p.m.,
Representatives from fire companies planning to apply for grants may attend either workshop. Officials will explain the grant application process, deadlines and offer advice on how to prepare the application.
