Disaster Recovery Centers Change Hours of Operation

Poplar Bluff, MO -- Hours of operation for the four Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) will change effective Friday, May 24. The DRCs offer disaster victims an opportunity to meet face-to-face with disaster recovery workers. The new hours are:

Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Closed Sunday

The DRCs are located:

101 First Street 6 Mineral Drive
Marble Hill
Bollinger County

6 Mineral Drive
Ellsinore
Carter County

101 South Main Street
Poplar Bluff
Butler County

112 East Main Street
Willow Springs
Howell County

The centers are staffed with disaster recovery specialists, including representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Information on temporary housing, low-interest loans, disaster unemployment and hazard mitigation will be available.

Before visiting a DRC, individuals who suffered damage to their homes or business properties in the declared counties are urged first to apply for assistance by calling FEMA's toll-free registration number 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), TTY 1-800-462-7585 for those who are hearing- or speech-impaired. The hours are Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice.
