JACKSON, Miss. -- The Carnival ship ‘Holiday’, a FEMA temporary shelter for residents displaced by Hurricane Katrina, will be available for a media walk through Thursday, Nov. 10. Media outlets wishing to participate in this one-time availability must register by 9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, by calling the number above. We will need the name, work title, and driver's license number of those who wish to participate. Media credentials will also be required on site.

We will provide media representatives an overview of the ship and its use as a temporary shelter. A brief escorted tour will be included. No photographing, video taping, or interviewing of residents will be allowed. All media will be required to stay with the tour group.

Please arrive between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Those arriving late cannot be accommodated.
All media must register for this event by 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Location

The Holiday is located in the Port of Pascagoula. Take the Port of Pascagoula exit south from U.S. 90, a left at the first light and a right after crossing the railroad tracks. Enter through the visitor's entrance.
