PASADENA, Calif. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announces new hours for the FEMA registration line.
Those who still need to register with FEMA for disaster assistance or need recovery information may call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585, until 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9. Lines close at 10 p.m. on Friday, and then reopen on Saturday morning at 5 a.m. with new operating hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily (PST).
When you call the FEMA registration line you can:
- Register for federal and state disaster assistance;
- Check the status of your application; and
- Update personal information or insurance information.
FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
