Port Arthur, TX, September 21, 2008 -- This resident was returned home from the Hurricane Ike evacuation. Repatriation began today with buses coming from shelters in Lufkin and Texarkana. People are allowed to return home to see the damage from hurricane Ike and live there if possible. Many will end up in shelters here because their home is too damaged to occupy.
