Dr. Doussard-Roosevelt notes that while her work environment at the NIH is wonderful, the flexibility of being being able to chose her work environment is even better. Many employees are allowed to telework from home 1 to 3 days per week. "While coming in to the office is great, it is also terrific to have the flexibility to work at home 1 to 3 days each week. This allows employees to use their home offices, surrounded by their own desks, books, and belongings, creating a very welcoming productive work environment while contributing to a greener world and saving on commuting expenses."
