Baton Rouge, LA, May 24, 2006 - This emergency communications unit called Rapidcom, which provides internet, phone and satellite use, is operating here at the Louisiana State Emergency Operations Center during a full-scale exercise to validate recently revised emergency procedures in preparation for the 2006 hurricane season.
