Bismarck, N.D. - The hours of operation for all Disaster Recovery Centers in North Dakota will be 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 26.

Hours Monday through Saturday will remain 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

Disaster officials from the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) remind residents that it is not necessary to visit a center to receive disaster assistance. The fastest way to register with FEMA is from home by phone or online.

Residents who plan to stop by the DRC are urged to register for assistance before their visit. Residents can register for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585 or visiting www.disasterassistance.gov online. The registration line is open daily from 6 a.m. – midnight CDT, 5 a.m. – 11 p.m. MDT, until further notice. The call is free. The registration deadline for disaster assistance is June 9.
