MOORHEAD, Minn. -- State and federal disaster officials urge Minnesota residents along the swollen Red River to remain vigilant as it prepares for a second crest within the next week.

Minnesota Department of Public Safety Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials encourage residents to continue monitoring weather reports and remain cautious.
