A Nitional Awareness Campaign for Women about Heart Disease
The Heart Truth Celebrates American Heart Month!
On Friday, February 13, The Heart Truth kicked off New York Fashion Week with the Red Dress Collection 2009, an event that celebrates the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness. Now in its sixth year, the Fashion Show featured a diverse group of 20 talented women with heart, including athletes, actresses, and news anchors who donned stunning, one-of-a-kind Red Dresses to support The Heart Truth.
In partnership with the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation, a selection of the red dresses worn on the runway in Red Dress Collection fashion shows were auctioned off to benefit the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health.
