NCCAM Grant$ for Lunch Workshops
NCCAM will host two lunchtime grants workshops during the North American Research Conference on Complementary and Integrative Medicine (NARCCIM) to be held May 12–15, 2009 in Minneapolis, MN.
Persons interested in participating in these sessions must be registered for the NARCCIM conference to take part.

The two Grant$ for Lunch Workshops are intended to help demystify the NIH grant application and review process, and highlight current areas of special interest or concern in complementary, alternative, and integrative medicine (CAIM) research. NCCAM program officers and scientific review administrators will provide participants with information on grant mechanisms, research and career development initiatives, and insights into the NIH peer-review system from seasoned researchers, reviewers, and NCCAM staff. The workshops will be targeted to young investigators, fellows, and graduate students, but all are welcome to attend and participate. Interaction between the presenters and the audience will be encouraged.

Your lunch selection is required to be turned into the registration desk by 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13. Your lunch will be ready in the foyer to pick-up and pay for it at the hotel (cash only—exact change). The price is $15.00.
