Public Assistance
(Assistance to State and local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities):
FEMA intends to provide assistance for emergency protective measures (Category B) under the Public Assistance program to save lives, protect public health and safety, and property.
This emergency assistance will be provided for a period of 48 hours for the counties of Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland, and Windham.
Hazard Mitigation Grant Program
